Plateau clusters 12 laboratories and research groups of Ghent University. Association. Plateau unites their expertise in the development of innovative photonic solutions.

Plateau represents more than 90 scientists active in photonics.

The laboratories and research groups are part of 4 different faculties:

• Faculty of Engineering Sciences : Photonics Research Group, Liquid Crystals and Photonics, Displays and electro-optical components, Optical Interconnects, Lab Soete, IBiTech, PARIS

• Faculty of Sciences : Semiconductor/Metal contacts, Physcis and Chemistry of Nanostructures, LumiLab

• Faculty of Bioscience Engineering : Lab of Molecular Cytolog and Cytometry

• Technical University - Industrial Sciences : Electronics Lab
